Sturgeon Literacy is
a program operated under the Sturgeon Adult Learning Council.
Sturgeon Literacy
provides one-on-one tutoring services for adults who wish to improve their
literacy skills.
We can help you
improve your basic skills such as: balancing a cheque book, figuring out the
GST, writing, spelling, and reading.
This service is
confidential and free.
We provide materials
and training for tutors. Commitment required is one and a half hours to two and
a half hours per week. Phone for the next training session.
Sturgeon Literacy is
funded through Alberta Learning. It would not be in existence without the
dedication and committed support from its many partners.
